Steven Miller established his photography business in Seattle in 2002 after a decade of being both a graphic designer and bass player for the agitprop music group ¡TchKung! A strong focus on fine art has driven much of his photography career but he has a deep love for conceptual, editorial and food photography for a wide variety of clients.
His 1100 square-foot studio is located in Seattle's Pioneer Square. With 10-foot ceilings, great southern exposure, a full kitchen and bathroom, there's plenty of room to complete most jobs. The studio has high-end digital camera equipment, professional lighting, multiple backdrops, and Steven's expert post-production digital-imaging skills will insure that everything comes out color-corrected and suited for your needs.
His performance background has led him to creative evocative portraits for a number of Seatlte's most adventurous musicians and performers. His support for social causes has produced arresting and effective campaigns for health organizations across the country. His visual arts career has led to solo and group exhibitions across the contitnent.
Steven's photographs have appeared on the cover and inside publications across Europe, Japan and the United States, including New York Arts Magazine, The Gay Times of London, White Crane, The Seattle Times, The Stranger, Seattle Weekly and Seattle Magazine, on the sides of buses, in calendars, and on national and international CD titles.
Photography clients include Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, T-Mobile, University of Washington, Microsoft, Seattle Art Museum, Quake Rugby, Gay City Health Project, Seattle Theatre Group, Implied Violence, Dragon's Eye Recordings, Degenerate Art Ensemble, and many others.
